It’s Southampton against Tottenham and the battle of the Mauricios as Pellegrino welcomes Pochettino to St Mary’s.

Southampton are on a terrible run without a win in 10 league games and Pellegrino will be desperate to end the slump, especially with a manager like Marco Silva back on the market.

Spurs are in a good moment, having won four and drawn one of their past five league games, and with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in particularly scintillating form.

Find out if Southampton can stop them in our live blog below:

Live Updates

SUBS

71: Serge Aurier is injured and cannot continue. Kieran Trippier comes on in his place.

SUBS

70: Heung-Min Son's day is over. He is replaced by Eric Lamela.

7: Chaos in the Southampton penalty area but the Saints survive. Moussa Dembele scuffs a shot which finds Dele Alli, he tries to turn but runs into a crowd. Eventually Spurs work it to Jan Vertoghen who blasts wide from outside the area.

67: The ball breaks to Harry Kane in the box and he strikes it with his left foot. The goal-bound effort is cleared behind by Jack Stephens and Southampton then clear the resulting corner.

SUBS

65: Sofiane Boufal comes on for Pierre Emile Hojberg

64: Collects the ball from deep, turns to get the ball out of his feet the fires a low drive wide.

61: Eric Dier accuses Dusan Tadic of elbowing him but it looks more like an accidental tangle. This game has a surprising edge to it.

YELLOW CARD

59: Oriol Romeu is now in the book, he fouls Dele Alli and picks up his eighth yellow card of the season. A tenth would result in a two game ban.

YELLOW CARD

56: Moussa Sissoko becomes the first Spurs player in the book for a late trip on Ryan Bertrand.

50: Moussa Dembele makes yet another foul in the centre of the pitch and yet again escapes a yellow card. He must be on his last last last last warning now.

TACTICS

50: Heung-Min Son had no luck on the left side in the first half but appears to be playing a more central role alongside Harry Kane.

49: Southampton regain possession and find James Ward-Prowse with space on the right flank. He takes a touch and from about 30 yards fires a low drive straight at Michel Vorm.

YELLOW CARD

48: Jack Stephens is the first player into the book for some slight shirt pulling on Harry Kane. When I say 'slight' I mean it was really obvious…

46: Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son link up well to release Alli in on goal but the Southampton central defenders close in and combine to clear the danger.

45: And we're back underway. Spurs get the second half underway.

The second half is coming up, will we see Harry Kane join the Premier League 100 club? He's currently on 99 goals. We can safely say that Spurs are struggling to create chances without Christen Eriksen who is missing through illness.

Half time Southampton took the lead when Davinson Sanchez turned in Ryan Bertrand's low cross into his own net. Three minutes later Harry Kane scored and headed in a corner to score his 99th Premier League goal. Never accuse us for not bringing you groundbreaking insight.

41: Manolo Gabbiadini finds himself in plenty of space in a dangerous area and give the ball to Mario Lemina who is in even more space on the edge of the box. He strikes a first time effort but can't get enough curl on his effort to put the ball either side of Michel Vorm. Load more
